Wednesdays July 12, 19, 26, 6:00pm – 7:30pm
Students entering kindergarten through third grade are invited to participate in some fun summer activities designed to keep their reading skills sharp.
They will read great stories and even get some books to take home and keep for their own. Dramatic play, games, art, and service projects will provide opportunities for the children to build their vocabularies and expand their comprehension. We’ll also work on sight words, fluency, letters, and sounds. The program is free and will be led by teachers and trained literacy volunteers.
